This Single Edged Viking Sword is purpose-built for stage and sport combat; it has a thick blade which is blunted and its blade edges are at least 2 mm thick all around. The sword is robustly constructed with a solid peen over the pommel to anchor the sword into the hilt. The guard and pommel are durable steel and the hardwood grip is overlaid in tight leather cord to complete the sword.

A leather sheath of thick leather with durable leather cord stitched construction is included. Also included is a sword frog with hanging belt loops which is seen in the photo. This additional frog can easily be removed from the sheath if desired. Laced cord on the frog cinches it to the scabbard to allow for the sword to be worn.
