The Tewkesbury Sword was named after the medieval battle at Tewkesbury England. This historical reproduction is crafted after a sword design which was prominent in medieval England and featured in many battles, both there and on the European mainland. The sword is long, but light enough to permit quick, shearing strikes with the blade. The guard and pommel are mild steel and the grip is black leather wrapped over a core of wood. The scabbard is wood with black leather and darkened steel fittings.
